While the experience differs from using a traditional Reformer, the gliding discs replace the moving carriage, and the resistance bands mimic the pulleys. Using props adds some spice to your workouts. Doing the same exercises the same way all the time will cause your body to adapt to the movements and the benefits will taper off. In some cases a prop can make the exercise more difficult, creating a stability challenge or increasing the work on one part of your body.
