The Louisa Drake Method (LDM®) is London's premier evidence-based training system that fuses Pilates precision, functional strength, dance-inspired cardio, yoga, and breathwork with expert nutrition and lifestyle coaching.
Unlike fitness trends that promise quick fixes, LDM builds resilient bodies, better posture, and calmer minds through intelligent programming designed for every stage of life. Our method doesn't just transform how you move — it transforms how you live.
Created by industry leader Louisa Drake and delivered by her expert team of multi-disciplinary specialists.

Louisa Drake is the industry leader who has spent over 15 years perfecting intelligent movement for high-performers who demand sustainable results.
Louisa's journey began as a professional dancer and choreographer, touring with legendary artists including Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry, performing at iconic events like Live Aid in Berlin. Her dance career expanded internationally through commercial work with luxury brands including M&S, Agent Provocateur, Perrier-Jouët, Bulgari, and Mont Blanc, taking her from Hong Kong and Shanghai to Lisbon and Paris.
This foundation in movement excellence led to her transition into premium fitness. After developing her teaching skills in London and expanding her expertise across LA, NYC, and the Hamptons, Louisa established herself at Equinox London's flagship location — where she truly began developing the Louisa Drake Method. Strategic partnerships followed, from launching LDM's first dedicated studio with The Detox Kitchen to collaborations with Sweaty Betty, Adidas, and events with Lululemon.
Often described as "London's best kept secret" and a "secret weapon" by industry insiders, Louisa's discretion and expertise have made her the go-to choice for those who demand both results and privacy.
Professional Expertise
Louisa holds advanced certifications in personal training, comprehensive Pilates (reformer, tower, cadillac, chair), and yoga, alongside specialised qualifications in nutritional coaching (Precision Nutrition, Biosignature Modulation). Her areas of specialisation include pre and postnatal conditioning, women's health, corrective movement, and holistic lifestyle coaching.
The Louisa Drake Method combines Pilates, yoga, strength training, and cardiovascular conditioning into transformative programmes designed for real life. Her innovative signature workouts — Shape Changer, Invisible Reformer, LDM Sculpt, and LDM Sculpt & Stretch — are intelligent, hybrid sessions that deliver sustainable results without sacrificing other areas of life.
Recognition & Impact
Trusted by distinguished clients across film, fashion, business, and beyond — including Gwyneth Paltrow, Victoria Beckham, Felicity Jones, Rooney Mara, and members of royal families — Louisa's work has been featured in British Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Forbes, Tatler, The Times, Marie Claire, and SheerLuxe.
Named "London's Best Personal Trainer" by The Times and Top Recommended Personal Trainer by Spear's Magazine (2023–2025), Louisa was also awarded "Best for Variety" at the Tatler Gym Awards 2018, with her virtual classes highly commended for "Best Online Classes for Barre and Sculpt" in 2020.
Her innovative methods have earned widespread acclaim: Marie Claire described her as "the celeb trainer changing the face of strength workouts," while SheerLuxe noted that "her signature workouts have earned her a cult following." Country & Town House praised LDM as "boutique fitness at its best," and Tatler observed, "She's rather clever... Quite addictive, which is possibly the cleverest thing of all."
LDM Today
Today, LDM offers three formats: bespoke one-to-one training, dynamic studio classes at The Sloane Club, and The Virtual Studio for online programming — providing the guidance and expertise needed to keep you motivated and moving towards your goals.

"I believe movement should make you stronger in every sense. LDM isn't just a workout; it's a complete method for building resilient bodies, confident minds, and sustainable wellness habits."
